J-pop was once all the rage in Asia, while K-pop has been catching up over the past 10 years and has become a global sensation. However, Taiwan’s T-pop can’t seem to break out of Chinese-speaking countries. This program aims to build up T-pop with five main elements: buzz creating, reporting, music production, song histories, and singing. The show will cover everything that’s been happening in T-pop over the year, with a second live section in which professional songwriters and singers will create a new song in accordance with the theme of the episode in under 90 minutes. Twelve singers will be invited to sing these new songs in the show’s finale. Through new media platforms, we hope to promote the abundant energy and rich creativity of Taiwanese artists to the world.
